DESCARTES THOUGHT. I WALK.

WALKING'S MORE THAN SOMETHING I DO. IT'S WHO I AM, WHERE I aM, in-between where I need to be.

My grandfather was a champion walker. My grandmother suffered with mental illness throughout most of her adult life. At her best or worst, walking was her sanity & saviour. Many can relate.

My older sister was born with a genetic hip displacement. Had doctors not caught it at infancy & corrected it with a brace, she would have walked with a limp today. So would her two daughters, my nieces.

They got lucky. Not everyone does. This is Abandon Shoes way of walking it forward.
