IN A CULTURE OBSESSED WITH WHAT'S NEXT, ABANDONED SHOES OFFER A SNAPSHOT OF WHAT'S LEFT BEHINd;*

Inspired by street-style photography & the shortest story Hemingway wrote, the series documents what's the streets' are wearing. They only get hand-me downs. Especially from our feet. 

Unlike gloves however, that only trend seasonally, abandoned shoes are part of their permanent collection. I'm sure we can collectively agree they're not going anywhere either. So don't give them away. Oh wait, you already did. That's what we do for the shiny & new. These still-life's are an homage to what's not;

The 'must-haves' no longer needed~ In a moment so fast, nobody appears to see it. What does stands to tell. Like Forrest Gump's mama always said - you can tell a lotWhere they're going. Where they've been. You can tell a lot about a person by their shoes.
